Best of both worlds

Here, a Revival pedestal basin on a Revival console takes centre stage. Revival accessories, including an oval mirror, offset its sleek curves.

This bathroom is in a restored, colonial-style home. To maintain its traditional character, the owner chose bathroomware from Kohler’s Revival range and tapware from the Fairfax range. A bidet from the Revival range was teamed with an Odeon tap to maintain the home’s French Colonial theme. Kohler

Italian innovation

Gessi tapware complements the square lines of this minimalist bathroom. The Rettangolo built-in single mixer with spout and two-hole plate in brushed nickel is mounted above a square vessel handbasin. Other accessories from Gessi’s Rettangolo range include a free-standing towel rail and a 30cm, wall-mounted shelf.

On further reflection

A large, east-facing window allows morning sun to flood the bathroom. The sleek, contemporary lines are enhanced by a ladder towel rail opposite the vanity unit, which features American walnut veneer.

Reminiscing

The family bathroom has a similar vanity unit to the ensuite, but features dark grey wall tiles chosen to warm the room visually. Dark river pebbles line the floor of the shower.
