Crackle rug

Wed 02 2007

rug.jpgGold doesn’t have to be flashy, as this carpet proves. Woven on state-of-the-art looms, the Crackle rug , part of the New Patina collection, appears handmade, partially due to its irregular grid pattern. This floor covering is stylistically flexible, able to fit in both casual and formal settings. The rug’s graduated tones, darker at the edges than in the middle, recall the look of a beloved leather chair whose luster only increases with wear.
