The judges were impressed by the quality of the workmanship in this stunning outdoor project. The new entertaining areas feature a Balinese double door for ROW access, a raised podium area surfaced with white pebbles and minimalist landscaping, a pergola with bamboo type covering for the outdoor pool furniture, and a gas heated fibre glass in-ground pool concealed with timber decking to the perimeter to provide a streamlined finish. The north-facing brick construction fireplace with perimeter ledge allows the outdoor space to be used during the winter months while the south-facing entertaining area provides a pleasant retreat during the summer months.
