It has been transformed by Better Building Services into an energy efficient, smart home which retains a portion of the original 1920s heritage residence. The quality of construction is impeccable and the level of finish outstanding. The judges commented that: ‘This project exhibits exceptional workmanship. The construction and engineering were extremely complex as no level overlaid the level below’. It is a remarkable achievement considering the heritage restrictions.
